The room was just plain dirty, in a way that would require not just a bad one-time cleaning, but an ongoing lack of upkeep and attention to detail. The hotel tried to make it right with us, offering an upgrade (we declined because all the rooms are apparently in similar shape) and partial refund.

Every employee we interacted with was professional and nice-valet staff was ON It and super helpful. I also want to spare others who might be more like me from having this kind of experience. The people we encountered on staff were nice, so I'm not writing this to hurt the hotel-I hope they are inspired to fix the housekeeping issues, and because the nice employees there deserve if to be fixed so the business can keep going. So, I was SO disappointed-I'm mystified how there are so many 5 star raves for this hotel.
